All camp registrations are required to make at least the initial week registration payment and continue on a Payment Plan.  A credit card will be put on the payment plan, which is currently scheduled to charge a credit card the Friday BEFORE the week start of a Camp date. For example, for a camper attending Week 3 starting on Monday, the credit card will be charged on Friday the week BEFORE.

   • As of April 1^st, 2024, a 2.75% charge will be added to all credit card transactions.
2. Check
   • Must be made BEFORE the automatic schedule pay date to avoid credit card use
   • Checks need to be made out to:

3. Cash
   • Must be made BEFORE the automatic schedule pay date to avoid credit card use.
   • Cash payments will be accepted at the Parks and Recreation Office during office hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.

*Parents may leave payment with staff at Camper Drop off. Please put payment in envelope, labeled with camper's name*

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: If you are cancelling a registration date, the cancellation must occur at LEAST 7 DAYS in advance for a full refund.   NO refunds will be rewarded between 6 days and the DAY OF the first registered date of that weekly session.  This requirement allows us to offer opportunities to other campers on the waitlist. 

 To cancel a camp date for your camper please email camp@collinsvilleil.org with Camper's full name, sessions to be removed, and any other important information relating to the cancellation. 

All campers will be tested with a Head Lifeguard and receive a “Swimmer” or “Non-Swimmer” grade.  Any Swimmer will wear a GREEN wristband.  Non-Swimmer will wear a RED wristband.

• GREEN wristband campers are allowed to access all swim areas of the Water Park
• RED wristband campers will only be allowed to swim in the following areas:
  • Monsoon Mountain
  • Kiddie Pool

• All campers must adhere to the height restrictions for all features
• Campers will get tested as needed
• Campers’ ability will be tracked by staff

Proper swimwear is required for all campers. Any campers that require a life vest, a limited supply is available for use through the Collinsville Aqua Park.  Campers are welcome to bring their own to use at the Aqua Park.

Campers are required to bring a backpack to contain and carry all of their items. Campers should have in their backpacks:

1. Water Bottle
2. Swimwear, towel, sandals
3. Sunscreen/bug spray
4. Lunch and two snacks
5. Cell phones are allowed but must be turned off and kept in camper's bag.

Camp Kahok is not responsible for any lost or stolen items

Campers should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and 2 snacks every day. Field Trip days will have limited opportunities to purchase lunches, a packed lunched will be required.  More details will be shared in the weekly newsletter emailed to parents/guardians. 

Pizza Fridays! Campers will receive two slices of pizza every Friday at Camp!

Campers still needs to bring 2 snacks and a drink, and any additional food that they may need/want with their pizza lunch. 

Please send your camper to camp prepared for a full range of activities! 

Loose fitting clothing for messy activities, outdoor recreation and weather appropriate. Campers must wear closed-toe shoes suitable for walking, running, and playing. Sandals will only be allowed on Pool Days at the Aqua Park. Individuals prone to accidents or extreme messes, should provide an extra change of clothes, socks, undergarments, etc. in their daily backpack. 

Camp Kahok Summer Camp registration offers additional care before camp our and after camp hours to for an additional fee. 

Camp Hours are from 9:00am-4:00pm 

Early Care starts at 7:00am and ends at 9:00am, the start of Camp Activities.
Late Care starts at 4:00pm, the end of Camp Activities, and ends at 6:00pm.
All Campers MUST be picked up by 6pm to avoid late fee charges. 

If your camper is on the waitlist, you will ONLY be notified if they have been ADDED to the date for which they were waitlisted. 

The last possible date for a camper to be added from the waitlist is the FRIDAY before the date's Week start Session.

For example: 

• Camper is waitlisted for June 16th. 
• Last date to be notified if removed from the waitlist will be Friday, June 10th

Parent/Guardian on account will be notified via Phone or Email directly form the Parks and Recreation Office-Recreation Superintendent.

When you register your camper(s) online, the calendar dates will indicate if registration is full for that date.  If you would like to be added to the waitlist(no charge) for the date(s) , select the date(s) within your request, the system prompt will ask if you would like to be added to the waitlist, accept the request, then proceed with your registration.

If any changes for the date(s) occurs, you will be notified by Collinsville Parks and Recreation. 

YES! You can register for additional dates at any time. If a date is not available, you can always add your camper to the waitlist at no charge! You can register for more dates through your account online or by contacting the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Activity Center at 618-346-7529.

How To Use your Online Account

A weekly major field trip is included in registration cost for the scheduled Field Trip date. Campers are required to wear their provided Camp T-shirt and closed-toe shoes for walking. 

All attempts will be made to reschedule if an event gets cancelled.  An In-house program or alternative will take place if no other option is available.
