COLLINSVILLE FOOD PANTRY - Located at 2009 Mall Street, the Collinsville Food Pantry is available to residents in need of food and toiletries. Clients are able to “shop” for their groceries and choose what they need and will use. Both daytime and evening hours are available for families in need. The Collinsville Food Pantry also organizes the “Tote Me Home” Program for local students, the S.O.S. Soup Kitchen, Back-to-School Supplies Giveaways, special holiday giveaways and more. KAHOKSTRONG - KAHOKstrong is a student-based organization that was created to assist students, staff and families who are/have been affiliated with the Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 during times of tragedy. All requests for help are vetted by a principal, social worker, counselor, etc. To date, KAHOKstrong has donated nearly $100,000 back to the district/community in a variety of ways. COLLINSVILLE FAITH IN ACTION - The mission of Collinsville Faith in Action is to put our faith into action by serving neighbors sixty years of age and older and persons with disabilities throughout our community with door-to-door, no-cost services to support their independence. Some of the services that the Collinsville FIA provides are Volunteer Caregivers (transportation services, shopping, seasonal yard maintenance, minor home repairs, etc), Answers on Aging and FIA’s Elder Connection.
