The Collinsville Fire Department offers American Heart Association CPR Classes on the first Wednesday of each month from 6-9pm at Fire Station One, 130 South Clinton Street.

These are "Heartsaver" classes that include infant, youth and adult CPR, choking rescue techniques, and an introduction to the AED (automated external defibrillator). "BLS Provider" classes for Health Care Providers are available only as group classes as described below.

COST: $25 per resident; $50 per non-resident; payable in cash upon arrival the night of the class. Please note that we now offer an additional First Aid portion for an extra $5 per participant. The First Aid portion lasts an additional hour following the regular course and covers the topics of finding the problem, EpiPen administration, bleeding control and glove removal along with other optional topics.

GROUPS: Group classes are available for Residents and local businesses/organizations only, in certain situations.  Five participants are required in order to schedule a Group Class.
