Steve Giacoletto

Steve Giacoletto of the Giacoletto Law Firm was appointed as Collinsville's Corporate Counsel in May of 1997 and as City Attorney in 2020. By the referendum that established the City Manager form of government in Collinsville, the Corporate Counsel and City Attorney are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council and serves at the pleasure of the City Council. The services of the Corporate Counsel/City Attorney includes consultation on virtually any subject requested by the City, as well as traditional legal related matters such as litigation, commercial and residential developments, zoning, demolitions, annexations, property acquisition and sale, ordinance drafting, attendance at City Council meetings, and numerous other aspects of the day to day operations of the City.
