Collinsville Parks and Recreation Leagues are recreational in nature and are designed for all kids to play and improve their skills. This league is not about winning but learning to play the game.
*Standings/statistics will not be kept by the league office*
*League Games will go no later than July 1st*

Pitching Type: Player Pitch from mound
Date: April 1st-June 30th
This recreational league is designed for children in 5th and 6th grades in the current school year. CBSL is a non-competitive, safe approach to teaching the fundamentals of the game of baseball. Players will begin pitching on an elevated pitching mound in this division.
Practices and games for this division will be scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Practices start April 1st. Games start the last week of April/first week of May. Teams are scheduled 12 games (10 games guaranteed). This division may travel to play other teams in neighboring cities to expand the size of the league.
All participants will receive a team uniform shirt and hat. Players will need their own glove. Collinsville Parks and Recreation will provide bats, balls, batting helmets, and catching equipment. Players are welcome to use their own equipment. It is strongly recommended that molded rubber cleats are recommended, however sneakers are allowed.
