Invest in your Future – We offer a pension through IMRF which is funded by employee contributions, employer contributions, and investment returns which takes 10 years to be vested. IMRF offers a Voluntary Contributions which are after tax, not tax-deferred. In addition to IMRF, we offer various deferred compensation programs to invest in. If you’re working for us; you would be qualified for the PSLF Program which forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.

Do I have to live in Collinsville to work for the City?
We do not require non-union personnel to live in the City of Collinsville, however union positions will require you to live 10 to 45 miles from Collinsville, depending on the position. Any residency requirement will be listed in the job posting.
