Let’s Light Up Collinsville for the Holidays! Participating Collinsville homes will be judged on creativity, use of decorations, and overall appearance. Participants have a Collinsville address. Please Register through Collinsville Parks and Recreation.  Participating homes will be marked by a yard sign provided by the Parks and Rec Department.  A guide of all participating houses will be published on the Collinsville website and Facebook page on December 12^th.

Houses will be judged by members of the Community Appearance Board from December 12^th-15^th 2024. The Judges top 3 choices will be posted on the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook Page for a community vote.  Select the “Like” or any reaction options on the picture of your favorite house to place your vote (comments will not count as a vote)

Community voting ends Thursday December 19th, at 4:00pm.

Winners will be announced on the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook and prizes will be awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners.

$10 entry fee

Registration closes after Wednesday December 11^th, 2024        

All participants must have a Collinsville address to be eligible. *House must be registered by December 11^th to participate in contest*

Contest Dates:

Yard signs reading “Light up Collinsville Participant” must be placed in Participants front yard.

• Thursday, December 12th
  • Guide of all participating houses will be published on the City of Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page. It will also be available on the Collinsville Website

     

• December 12^th-15^th
  • Members of the Community Appearance Board will judge homes between 5:00p and 9:00p

   

•  December 17^th -19^th

  • Judges’ top 3 choices will be posted on the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page for a community vote.
  • Press the ‘Like’ or any reaction button to vote on the video of your favorite house. Comments will not count towards votes.
    • Voting ends on Thursday, December 19^th at 4:00p

• Winners will be announced on the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
  • Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners
  • Winners will be contacted by email/phone

Yard signs will be collected at the end of the event by a staff member of the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Department. PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD yard signs. Signs will be picked up between December 27th-30th, 2024. Please leave the yard sign in the yard for pick up.
