This recreational league is designed for children in 3rd and 4th grades for the current school year. CBSL is a non-competitive, safe approach to teaching the fundamentals of the game of baseball. Players will begin pitching in this division.

Practices and games for this division will be scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Practices start April 1^st. Games start the last week of April/first week of May.  Teams are scheduled 12 games (10 games guaranteed). This division may travel to play other teams in neighboring cities to expand the size of the league.

All participants will receive a team uniform shirt and hat.  Players will need their own glove.  Collinsville Parks and Recreation will provide bats, balls, batting helmets, and catching equipment.  Players are welcome to use their own equipment. It is strongly recommended that boys wear a protective cup. Molded rubber cleats are recommended however sneakers are allowed.
