This recreational league is designed for children in 1st and 2^nd grades for the current school year. CBSL is a non-competitive, safe approach to teaching the fundamentals of the game of baseball/softball.

Practices and games for this division will be scheduled for Mondays through Thursdays with occasional Saturdays. Practices start as of April 1^st. Games start the first week of May.  Teams are scheduled 12 games (10 games guaranteed).

All participants will receive a team uniform shirt and hat.  Players will need their own glove.  Collinsville Parks and Recreation will provide bats, balls, and batting helmets.  Players are welcome to use their own equipment. Molded rubber cleats are recommended however sneakers are allowed.
