Halloween House Decoration Contest--GUIDE AVAILABLE!

Do you have the BEST Halloween décor? Let's put it to a vote! Participating Collinsville homes will be judged on creativity, use of decorations, and overall appearance. Participants must have a Collinsville address. Registered homes will be marked with a yard sign provided by the Collinsville Parks and Rec Department. A guide of all participating homes will be published on the Collinsville website and Facebook Page on October 19th.
Winners will be announced on Facebook and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Homes will be judged by members of the Community Appearance Board October 20th-22nd, 2023. The judges TOP 5 choices will be posted on the Collinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page for a community vote. Select the "Like" option on the post with your favorite home! Comments will not count towards votes.
Community voting on Facebook will start on October 24th and end October 26th at 4:00p.

Contest Dates:
Yard signs reading "Halloween Decorating Contest Participant" must be visible in participant's front yard.
Thursday October 19th:
- Guide of Participating houses will be published on the CPRD Facebook page and Website
October 20th-22nd:
- Members of the Community Appearance Board will judge home between 5:00p and 9:00p
October 24th-26th:
- Judges top 5 choices will be posted on the CPRD Facebook page for community vote.
- Press the "Like" button to vote on the picture of your favorite house. Comments will NOT count towards votes.
- Voting ends at 4:00p on Thursday, October 26th
- Winners will be announced on the CPRD Facebook page
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Yard signs will be collected at the end of the event by a staff member of Collinsville Parks and Recreation Department. PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD yard signs. Signs will be picked up between November 2nd & 3rd. Please leave yard sign in yard for pick up.
